Emergency First Aid and CPR
Saskatoon first aid proudly offers Red Cross emergency first aid and CPR courses. This is one of the most popular courses offered through the Red Cross. This course comes standard with CPR level “A”, however candidates can opt for a higher level CPR “C”. Candidates will learn to recognize victim’s that need automated external defibrillators and learn to apply them. This course meets government legislative standards. Re-certification’s are available for emergency first aid and CPR certificates.
Course Length:
The length of this course is 8 to 10 hours.
Course Cost:
The cost of this course is 80 dollars. Course fee includes taxes, Red Cross certification fee’s and first aid and CPR manual.
Course Content:
Candidates in this course will learn about the following first aid and CPR emergencies:
- CPR for adults for adult and child victims.
- Conscious and unconscious obstructed victims (choking).
- Respiratory emergencies including asthma, hyperventilation, aspiration and anaphylaxis.
- Circulatory emergencies (includes heart attacks, angina, transient ischemic attacks and strokes).
- Deadly bleeding.
- Automated external defibrillator (AED) training.
Red Cross Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive a Red Cross emergency first aid, CPR and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. This certificate is nationally accredited and valid throughout Canada. Course and certification meets government and legislative standards for first aid training. Re-certification courses are available for this course for candidates that need to renew certification

Fill out the registration form and prepay to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Candidates have the option of paying by credit card, debit card or PayPal through our secure registration system. CPR Options:
Candidates can opt for either CPR level “A” or CPR level “C” with the emergency first aid certification. An additional cost of 5 dollars is charged for candidates require CPR level “C” certification.
No Pressure:
At Saskatoon First Aid we have a “no pressure” policy. If you do not complete the course the first time you can re-take the course at no extra cost.

Refunds or Cancellations:
Saskatoon First Aid does not accept refunds or cancellations within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours candidates can receive a full refund.
