A man in a taxi died after a shooting despite the delivery of CPR. The driver of a cab whose passenger was found dead after shots were fired near a northwest Edmonton bar was unharmed.
Shooting ordeal
The victim was found in the front seat of the cab outside Flux Ultra Lounge near 142 Street and Yellowhead Trail. The responding police attempted to resuscitate the man with CPR. The victim was later pronounced dead on the scene and the homicide detectives took over the case.
The investigators believe that many people might be witnesses to the violence. The investigators are asking anyone present in the parking lot outside the nightclub who might have seen the events leading up to the shooting to come forward.
