CPR “HCP” Re-Certifications

Saskatoon First Aid offer CPR level “C” for health care provider, also known as CPR “HCP”, re-certification courses.

This course is designed for people that work in the health care industry and need to renew certification. This course meets government and legislative standards for Saskatchewan. CPR “HCP” renewal courses are significantly cheaper and shorter than the original course and candidates. AED training and certification is included in this course. Candidates enrolled in this course must meet a set of prerequisites in order to be eligible.  Please check the prerequisites prior to registering for a CPR “HCP” re-certification course in Saskatoon.

Course Length:

The length of this stand-alone CPR course is 4 to 5 hours.

The cost of this “HCP” course is — dollars.

Re-Certification Eligibility (Prerequisites):

To be eligible for a workplace approved CPR level “HCP” and AED renewal course candidates must meet the following prerequisites:

• Must have completed a full course or a re-certification course of the same level within the past 3 years.
• Must bring previous certification card to renewal course.
• Must have completed previous certification course with a credible provider such as St. Johns Ambulance, St Mark James, Lifesaving Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
• Must have completed previous certification within Canada.

Certification:

Once candidates complete the skills component and the multiple choice test with a minimum grade of 75%, candidates will receive a workplace approved CPR level “HCP” and AED certificate. This certification is valid for 3 years and is a nationally accredited award that is valid throughout Canada. This course meets government and legislative standards for CPR “HCP” training for the workplace.  Candidates may be required to to renew certification at a earlier date based on employer or school policy.

Saskatoon First Aid does not accept refunds or cancellations within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours of the course candidates can receive a full refund.
