Saskatoon First Aid offers CPR level “C” for health care providers, also known as CPR “HCP”, through St Mark James. This course is the most comprehensive stand-alone CPR course available. This level of CPR is designed for candidates that work in the health care or health administrative work force. Candidates include: nurses, doctors, dentists and other health care workers. CPR “HCP” encompasses all of the other CPR levels’ content and adds additional content including circulation checks and the use of bag-valve masks. Course Length:
This stand-alone CPR course is approximately 6 to 8 hours in length.
Course Cost:
The cost of this CPR course is — dollars. Course fee includes taxes, workplace approved certification fee’s and CPR manual.
Course Content:
Candidates in this course will learn about the following CPR emergencies:
- CPR for adults for adult, child and infant victims
- Resuscitation for adult, child and infant victims with circulation.
- Conscious and unconscious obstructed victims (choking)
- Respiratory emergencies including asthma, hyperventilation, aspiration and anaphylaxis
- Circulatory emergencies (includes heart attacks, angina, transient ischemic attacks and strokes)
- Automated external defibrillator (AED) training.
Workplace Approved Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive a workplace approved CPR level “HCP” certificate. This certificate is valid for 3 years and is nationally accredited and valid throughout Canada. This certificate meets Canadian government legislative standards.

No Pressure:
At Saskatoon First Aid we have a “no pressure” policy. If you do not complete the course the first time you can re-take the course at no extra cost.

Refunds or Cancellations:
Saskatoon First Aid does not accept refunds or cancellations within 72 hours of the course. Prior to 72 hours candidates can receive a full refund.
