A woman involved in a drowning ordeal receives CPR

Fact Checked

In a drowning incident, a 57-year old woman was given CPR. The incident occurred in a lake and evidence shows that a pet might play a role in the turn of events. The RCMP responded to a call where a woman was in the water. Sadly, the outcome of the ordeal was a sad one.

Is it a possible pet rescue?

Based on the report, two men went into the house of the woman to check. They found her in a lake covered by ice and pulled her out of the water. CPR was performed and emergency assistance was requested. Sadly, the woman passed away in a hospital.

During the investigation, the police believe that the woman might have been attempting to rescue a dog. The police are trying to figure out if the dog entered the water and if there were efforts to retrieve it. However, this possibility could not be confirmed yet.
