Shooting ordeal in a bar left a man with gunshot wounds

In a recent shooting incident, the victim receives CPR but was later passed away due to his injuries. A man who was involved in an early morning shooting ordeal in a Toronto bar received CPR. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning outside a bar on the Danforth.

According to the Toronto police, after around 3 AM, they were called to 1232 Danforth, Avenue, outside of a bar for a shooting incident.

Based on a report by a witness, several people were playing billiards in a bar when one man went outside for a cigarette and gunshots rang out. A duty inspector stated that when they arrived, they found a man lying on the sidewalk without vital signs with multiple gunshot wounds.

An officer attempted to perform CPR but was not successful in resuscitating him. The man was rushed to a healthcare facility where he was later declared dead.

The police were able to identify the deceased as Thomas Michael Alcott, 29-years old of Toronto. The homicide detectives are leading the investigation and stated that they are looking to speak with several witnesses who were captured on video.
