Motorcyclist receives immediate CPR after crash

Cases of road accidents all over the world continue to rise all over the globe. Some of these accidents can result in minor injuries and damages but there are some that can be fatal. When an emergency occurs on the road, being ready to help with timely delivery of life-saving measures can greatly help.

A motorcycle incident resulted in a crash between a car and a motorcycle. Sadly, the motorcycle rider sustained potentially serious injuries.

Unforeseen demise

The emergency crews were called to the scene for a report of a motorcycle rider who was on the ground, sustaining severe injuries after a collision.

Based on the reports, the man did not have any vital signs and CPR was performed. Sadly, despite the delivery of life-saving measures, the motorcyclist passed away on the scene a few minutes later.

Prompt delivery of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and using an automated external defibrillator (AED) can save a life. If you want to be prepared during emergencies, it is recommended to enroll in a first aid course today.

The roads will be closed for a few hours as the police investigate along with a reconstruction of the collision. Additionally, motorists are requested to avoid the site.

Life-saving skill

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a life-saving skill that significantly increases the chances for survival. Prompt delivery of the technique can save a life. Although not all cases in which CPR was performed yields a good outcome, it is better that you have done something to help than doing nothing at all.
